Fotógrafo del National Geographic

Spain in Passing (2011)

On assignment for National Geographic I spent several weeks in 2011 travelling around Spain, my home country, including trips to the Balearic and Canary islands.

In these types of productions a large number of photographs are taken which have a very significant intrinsic photographic value in themselves but that will never see the light of day in books with strong informative character.

This is just a small sample, if somewhat a surrealistic one, of situations I was confronted with in the day-to-day of my work on the assignment.

These are not the images of beautiful landscapes, well known historical monuments or architectonic details which will undoubtedly appear in the Spain guide.

Nevertheless, as an author, I love these fleeting and unpredictable moments which reveal the way I live and understand photography.

Listen to this music when you see the pictures...
